Editor’s note: Follow here for live Backlash 2025 updates
It’s time to deal with the fallout of WrestleMania 41.
The first premium live event of WWE’s new year takes place Saturday with Backlash. Even though WrestleMania just took place three weeks ago, matches have quickly formed and heat has been built for the night in St. Louis. Five matches are scheduled, highlighted by the renewed rivalry between John Cena and Randy Orton. The two wrestling greats have had several bouts throughout their careers, and in Orton’s hometown, they meet for likely the final time with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line.
Other action includes matches with both Intercontinental titles and the United States Championship up for grabs, and Pat McAfee makes his return to the ring.
