After dispatching the Tampa Bay Lightning in five games, the Florida Panthers will meet the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round of the 2025 Stanely Cup playoffs. The Maple Leafs, who won the Atlantic Division, were extended to six games by the upstart Ottawa Senators in their first round series. The teams played four times during the regular season, with the Panthers winning three. This will be the second-ever postseason meeting between the two franchises. The Cats eliminated Toronto in five games in 2023, limiting them to a mere ten goals.
