Jrue Holiday has been cleared to play in the Boston Celtics‘ opening game of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The veteran guard missed three games of Boston’s opening-round series against the Orlando Magic due to a right hamstring strain. Before succumbing to injury, Holiday was having a significant impact on the court, proving himself to be a vital piece of Joe Mazzulla’s rotation.
Holiday has suffered a string of minor injuries this season, including a mallet finger on his shooting hand. However, the Celtics can look on the bright side that none of his ailments have been connected, making them all stand-alone issues.

Nevertheless, it would appear that veteran reporter Gary Washburn is concerned about Holiday’s ability to stay healthy throughout the playoffs. Washburn shared his thoughts in a recent episode of the “Big Three” podcast with A. Sherrod Blakely and Kwani Lunis. It’s worth noting that currently, there is no reporting to indicate that Holiday is carrying any form of lingering injury.
