Steelers International Fan of the Year gives Green Bay, Wisconsin Badgers shoutout at draft

Christopher Kuhagen

Pittsburgh Steelers International Fan Of The Year Tom McCormack of Ireland had a classy speech before he announced the team’s sixth-round pick.

Waving a Terrible Towel as he approached the mic, McCormack praised Green Bay as the host site of the draft and then gave Wisconsin Badgers fans an early welcome to his country.

Wisconsin is playing Pittsburgh in Dublin, Ireland, in 2027.

Earlier in the day, McCormack presented NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell with an Irish Wolfhounds jersey.

This likely won’t be the last draft McCormack attends. The draft is heading to Pittsburgh in 2026.

Did Shedeur Sanders get drafted?

Christopher Kuhagen

Shedeur Sanders is still without a team.

It wasn’t long ago that Sanders was projected to be among the top players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft and listed as one of the top quarterbacks in this class.

Now, the former Colorado star hasn’t even been picked in the first three rounds as team after team continues to pass over him in one of the most stunning developments in recent draft history. His slide in the draft even got a response from President Donald Trump.

Sanders was the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year last year after throwing for 4,134 yards with 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Sanders began his college career at HBCU’s Jackson State before helping put Colorado football on the map in the last two seasons. He was coached by his father and Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders at both Jackson State and Colorado.

Shedeur Sanders has been watching the draft with his family in Texas.

“Thank you GOD for EVERYTHING,” Sanders wrote on X after the third round on April 25.
