Rajasthan Royals (RR) are currently taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This is an important game for RR as they would look for their first win after four consecutive losses. In their last match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), one of the brightest spots for RR was 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who smashed 34 from 20 balls in his debut, including a six off the first ball. However, he does not find a place in the playing XI for tonight despite this impressive debut.

Why Vaibhav Suryavanshi Is Not In RR Playing XI Vs RCB

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to field first. In the playing XI that they announced, there was no mention of Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the playing XI. However, this does not mean that he will not be able to participate in the game.

The 14-year-old has been named among the five substitutes in addition to the playing XI. Hence, when RR come out to bat in the second innings, Suryavanshi will most likely open the batting as the impact substitute, as he would replace one of the bowlers.
