After a 121-100 rout in Game 1, the Cavaliers are in control, but the job isn’t close to being done.

Wednesday night’s Game 2 is a chance for Cleveland to take a commanding 2-0 series lead before the first-round matchup shifts to Miami this weekend.

For the Heat, adjustments are a must. Miami struggled to contain Cleveland’s perimeter shooting, giving up 18 threes, and allowed 63 second-half points as the Cavs pulled away.

Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro combined for 45 points, but the Heat lacked consistent contributions elsewhere and were outmuscled on both ends.

If Miami wants to even the series, it will need to tighten up defensively, cut down on unforced errors and get more production out of players.

The Cavaliers, meanwhile, need more of the same.

Donovan Mitchell looked healthy, dropping 30 points and matching a Michael Jordan record with his seventh straight 30-point Game 1 in a playoff series.

Darius Garland was aggressive and efficient with 27 points and five threes, while Ty Jerome exploded for 16 fourth-quarter points in his playoff debut.

The Cavs’ spacing, pace and ball movement kept Miami chasing — and they’ll aim to keep that momentum going in front of another home crowd at Rocket Arena.

Bottom line: The Heat need answers in Game 2 and the Cavs need consistency.
