The Timberwolves will open the NBA Western Conference playoffs with a best-of-seven series against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Game 1 will be Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Los Angeles and be televised by ABC (Ch. 5).
Game 2 is Tuesday in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. (TNT).
The series comes back to Minnesota for Game 3 (Friday April 25, 8:30 p.m., ESPN) and Game 4 (Sunday April 27, 2:30 p.m., ABC Ch. 5).
If necessary, Game 5 is back in Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 30. Game 6 would be at Target Center on Friday, May 2, and Game 7 would be in LA on Sunday, May 4. Game times haven’t been set.
The Warriors beat the Grizzlies on Tuesday in the play-in to earn the No. 7 seed in the West, and they’ll face at No. 2 Houston starting Sunday.
The Grizzlies still have a chance to get into the playoffs if they beat the winner of Wednesday’s 9-10 game between the Mavericks and Kings. The No. 8 seed eventually will play Oklahoma City in a series that also starts Sunday.
No. 4 Denver and No. 5 Los Angeles Clippers start their series on Saturday.
