WrestleMania 41 LIVE: WWE stream, latest updates as Roman Reigns fights in main event

History has been made and new champions have been crowned on night one of ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment’. WrestleMania 41 will forever be remembered for Jey Uso grabbing the biggest win of his career by making the dominant ‘ring general’ Gunther tap out to become the new World Heavyweight champion.

Elsewhere, The New Day are holding tag team gold again after beating The War Raiders and Jacob Fatu is the new United States champion after defeating LA Knight in a fun match. Meanwhile, Jade Cargill exacted revenge on former friend Naomi, El Grande Americano got the win over Rey Fenix – who was a late replacement for the injured Rey Mysterio – and Charlotte Flair came up short in her attempt to dethrone WWE Women’s champion Tiffany Stratton.

Reigns goes for a spear on Punk but runs into a knee, though he is able to avoid a GTS. They trade blows before Punk gets a two count and locks in a submission!

Roman and Punk working together? Well, not for long as Reigns plants a superman punch on Punk for a two count.

A round of applause for Punk as he plants both Reigns and Rollins with DDT’s.

CM Punk attempts to mock Roman Reigns but eats a samoan drop for his efforts. Rollins then tries a sneak attack but eats a big right hand.

Reigns goes for the superman punch on Punk who reverses it and then hits a couple of running knees on Reigns and Rollins in the opposite corners.

Crowd chant “we want tables” and Roman Reigns duly obliges by taking apart one of the announce tables.

It’s broken down into a 1v1 match between Punk and Rollins for the time being with Reigns taken out of the equation.

But Reigns comes flying out of the air to take out both men.

Reigns standing tall early on, hits Rollins with a drive by. Now focuses his attention on Punk and barks at Heyman.

Rollins hits Reigns with a suicide dive on the outside and now locks eyes with Punk and a brawl breaks out between the two rivals.

Mind games starting already as Punk slides out the ring to have a word with Heyman. Rollins tries to get in Reigns’ head, perhaps suggesting an alliance but the OTC rejects the plan and hits Rollins hard.

Roman Reigns clearly does not trust Paul Heyman as the bell rings to signal the start of this main event!
