The Nuggets have won and covered both (vs. Sacto and Memphis) since Michael Malone was pink-slipped last week; the intended short-term jolt seems to have been achieved. Jamal Murray’s return on Friday vs. the Grizzles means Denver is likely at or near full-strength on Sunday as well. As for Houston, the Rockets have laid the cards on the table for these last regular-season games, resting six of the seven top scorers in both games at LA into Sunday, having already secured the Southwest title and second seed in the West.
