CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Very active pattern through most of the weekend with more rounds of rain and storms that could cause flooding.
A cold front is tracking through the area this morning. The heavy rain and storms we had last night has shifted out of the area. Isolated showers will be around this morning. A southwest to west wind will gust over 30 mph at times. High temperatures today 64 to 69 degrees.
This front will stall out south of our area, but deep moisture will train along this boundary with rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms. Our area will be on the northern fringe of these systems. It looks like a round of showers and thunder will roll through this evening. Overnight temperatures fall into the lower to middle 40s.
Another round of heavier rain and storms is in the forecast Friday night into early Saturday. This is when we could be dealing with flood warnings throughout the area. Make sure you pay attention to river and creek levels if you live in a flood zone.
