LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire sat down earlier this week with popular college football commentator Josh Pate to discuss anything and everything involving the Red Raiders. The nearly full-hour conversation is part of Pate’s annual “Pate State Speaker Series” where he and McGuire discuss the Red Raiders entering his fourth season, whether Texas Tech should be Big 12 title contenders as well as the lessons he’s learned in his coaching career. The conversation also goes into other topics, including the popular Paramount+ series Landman, which features numerous ties to Texas Tech.
