‘The Masked Singer’ spoilers: Who is Yorkie?

Yorkie made her debut on the March 26 episode of The Masked Singer Season 13 as a member of Group C. The pink-clad puppy’s first song on Fox’s reality TV show was “Hot to Go!” by Chappel Roan, and she had the four panelists (Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora) guessing such famous names as Chelsea Handler, Paris Hilton, and Kyle Richards.

Audio Clues

Here is what Yorkie had to say about himself in Week 1: “Becoming Yorkie is kismet. We’re both sassy, fashion-forward, and dare I say it — popular. But don’t be fooled by the designer dog looks. I’ve still got a bite. I mean, Yorkies were bred to catch rats — which is a good skill to have when you’ve been through everything I’ve been through. And girl, I’ve been through a lot of crazy stuff. One minute you’re so hot — the next it’s your time to go. But I didn’t roll over. Lucky for me, I’ve had music and it’s the one place I can truly express myself. It rescued me in my darkest hours and has led me here. Now, I’m hot and ready to go fight for top dog status.”

Hilton knows a thing or two about being “fashion-forward” and “popular,” thanks to her well-known professions as a fashion model and celebrity. The two “hot” clues allude to her infamous catchphrase, “That’s hot.” As far as the “music” line is considered, Hilton put out two albums, Paris (2006) and Infinite Icon (2024).

Visual Clues

On-screen hints during Yorkie’s video packages included the following: a rat party hat, a diamond ring, and poker chips.

When she was younger, Hilton and best friend Nicole Richie used to buy pet rats and name them after all of the Beverley Hills 90210 characters, which explains the rat party hat. The diamond ring clue is all about her husband, Carter Reum, her costars with her on the reality show Paris in Love. Finally, the poker chips are a reference to her love of Las Vegas and how August 29, 2006, was deemed “Paris Hilton Day” in that city.

In-Person Clues

Following her performance of “Hot to Go!” Yorkie said, “I was down bad, but then a lovely lady in Beverly Hills adopted me. Now I’m wearing Channel and eating caviar.” The socialite has called Beverly Hills her home for much of her entire life.
