BUFFALO, N.Y. — Did Wednesday’s record-breaking warmth lead to a craving for ice cream? If so, we’ve got some good news for you.

The first day of spring is Thursday, and with it comes one of Dairy Queen’s most popular promotions: Free Cone Day.

All day long, DQ will be serving complimentary small vanilla cones. You can’t get greedy, though: There’s a limit of one soft-serve cone person at all participating Dairy Queen locations.

Free Cone Day is not valid with delivery or mobile orders.

“Free Cone Day is by far one of our favorite days of the year,” Maria Hokanson, the DQ executive vice president of marketing, said in a statement.
