McLaren’s Lando Norris leads the season-opening Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park, Melbourne.
Norris started on pole and led through two safety car periods in the wet and windy conditions. Jack Doohan (Alpine) and Carlos Sainz (Williams) crashed on the opening lap, while Fernando Alonso lost it on Turn 6 of Lap 32.
Racing Bull rookie Isack Hadjar also spun out on the first of two formation laps, ahead of an initial aborted start.
