Both teams are in the bonus and the refs are calling everything, so we may be here awhile. Free throws could prove decisive; Texas is 11-of-16 from the line compared to 15-of-25 for A&M.

Both teams are attacking the rim with abandon, and most drives are getting shut down in an early defensive war. Tre Johnson has five points so far to pace Texas.

When this Aggie defense is locked in, it’s a scary sight. They are being physical, being grabby and being downright nasty so far – and those are compliments. Texas is 3-of-10 to start the game; the Aggies just 2-of-6.
