Eagles Embarrassing Chiefs and Donald Trump, 34-0

Donald Trump is a two-time U.S. President. The Kansas City Chiefs, however, are not going to be three-peat Super Bowl champions.

Trump was in the Caesars Superdome Sunday night, marking the first time a sitting president had ever attended the Super Bowl. As he entered the stadium, he took some time to walk around the field and shook hands with Chiefs’ star defensive lineman Chris Jones.

In a pre-taped interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, Trump picked the Chiefs to win Super Bowl LIX and become the first team to win three consecutive titles.

“I watched this great quarterback, who has, by the way, has a phenomenal wife,” Trump said, referencing Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. “She’s a Trump fan. She’s a MAGA fan, so I happened to love her, but she’s a great person. I guess you have to say a quarterback who has won as much as he’s won, I have to go with Kansas City.”

Oops.

After the worst half of his playoff career, Mahomes threw two interceptions as the Chiefs shocking fell behind the Philadelphia Eagles, 34-0.

Mahomes said it was “cool” to play in front of the President, while Travis Kelce called it an “honor.”

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was less than enthusiastic about Trump’s attendance.

Said Hurts, “He can whatever he wants.”

Hurts is getting the best of Mahomes – and Trump – as his 46-yard touchdown pass to Devonta Smith pushed the Eagles‘ margin to 34-0 late in the third quarter.
