Drake’s Dad Has Priceless Reaction to Kendrick Lamar’s Grammys Win Amid Feud

Watch: Grammys 2025 Recap: Beyoncé‘s Huge Win, Viral Moments & More Surprises!

Drake‘s dad Dennis Graham isn’t in his feelings about Kendrick Lamar‘s big night at the Grammys.

The 70-year-old wasn’t interested in weighing in on Kendrick’s diss track about his son, “Not Like Us,” winning both Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2025 Grammys Feb. 2. (See all the winners here.)

“I don’t care enough about that s–t,” he told TikToker Joy of Everything after the award show. “That ain’t got nothing to do with me.”

Dennis made sure to note that he didn’t have any ill will towards the “HUMBLE.” rapper, saying, “All the best to him, man. I don’t do that bulls–t.”

Meanwhile, Kendrick avoided any mention of Drake—whose name is Aubrey Graham—while accepting his awards during the ceremony, choosing instead to focus on celebrating his hometown of Compton, Calif.

“This is my neck of the woods that held me down since [I was] a young pup,” he said during his Record of the Year acceptance speech, “since I was in the studio, scrapping to write the best raps and all that. I can’t give enough thanks to these places that I rolled around since high school.”

“This is a true testament,” Kendrick—who became just the second rapper in history to win the Grammy for Record of the Year after Childish Gambino in 2019—continued, “that we continue to restore this city.”

While the history of the 37-year-old’s beef with Drake, 38, goes back over a decade, their feud really started to heat up at the end of 2023 after the “Best I Ever Had” rapper and J. Cole released their song “First Person Shooter” in which they implied the three of them were the best rappers in modern hip-hop.

Kendrick took issue with their proclamation and hit back on his track, “Like That,” on which he rapped, “motherf–k the big three, it’s just big me.”

The three stars went back and forth on several more tracks like J. Cole’s “7 Minute Drill” and Drake’s “Push Up” before Kendrick dropped “Not Like Us” last May in which he labeled Drake a “pedophile.”

The “Hotline Bling” hitmaker denied the claim on “Heart Part 6,” saying, “Drake is not a name that you gonna see on no sex offenders list.”
