Raye is a force to be reckoned with, and after seeing her at tonight’s Grammy Awards, we’re doubling-down on that fact.
The star made the red carpet at Los Angeles’s Crypto.com Arena her own tonight, stepping out in a glittering black gown from Armani Privé. Complete with a bedazzled sweetheart neckline and a glamorous reflective skirt which billowed out into a train, the singer looked every bit like an Old Hollywood movie star.

She kept the theme going with her glam, showing off her polished, vintage-style curls. Black eyeliner and flirty lashes—the latter of which boasted pearl details—added a playful touch to her otherwise serious ensemble. A dainty silver watch and plenty of matching rings rounded out her look, while bringing attention to her classy black French manicure.
It’s a big evening for Raye, who earned three nominations this year—two for her debut album My 21st Century Blues, and one for her contribution to Lucky Daye’s Algorithm. She’s up for awards for Best New Artist, Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical), and Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical).
While Raye has been in the music business since she was 14—first working as a professional songwriter, and then signing her first publishing deal at 16—this year’s ceremony marks her first time being nominated for a Grammy.
Apart from being a major nominee, she also took the stage to perform her hit “Oscar Winning Tears,” changing into another sparkling gown. As she belted her heart out, Raye wore a long-sleeved sequined black dress with a plunging neckline.
