An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 shook near Malibu late Friday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
USGS reported the quake hit about 6.8 miles northwest of Malibu around 11:44 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.
In addition, the earthquake reached about 9-and-a-half miles in depth.
